A fine antique Victorian English sterling silver drum mustard pot; an addition to our silver cruets / condiments collection.
This antique Victorian sterling silver mustard pot has a plain cylindrical drum shaped form.
The upper rim and base are encircled with applied gadroon decorated borders.
This fine mustard pot is fitted with a hallmarked hinged cover surmounted with a scallop shell decorated thumbpiece.
This exceptional example of Victorian silverware is fitted with a sterling silver angular handle accented with a pendant drop motif to the upper plateau.
The mustard pot is fitted with a removable blue glass liner.
This Victorians silver mustard pot can be supplied with an appropriate sterling silver mustard spoon upon request.
Condition
This antique Victorian silver mustard pot is a very good gauge of silver, fine quality and in excellent condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body and part hallmarks to the interior of the cover are all clear.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this piece of Victorian silverware.
